On my way to a V2Workshop last week, let's just say I was under the bridge somewhere, I found myself stopping on the street to scan this QR code for the new Red Hot Chilli Pepper Album, which to my fascination was in the shape of an asterix (a classic chilli pepper logo) rather than the usual square QR Code.  I scanned and was taken to this hot little promo site optimised for mobile viewing, of course.

I've heard it said that you can alter QR Codes up to 30% stylistically and they will still scan, this however must be pushing that 30% to the limit!  Movies are also being promoted using codes that don't say much else, the point being, the user will be hard linked to the content on their smart phone, to take the message with them.  Content now scanned to the users phone is far more likely to be engaged with at a deeper level and most importantly, shared with others.  Read more for QR Code 'Tips'.
